The Laboratory of Nonlinear Functional Analysis is a scientific division under the dual subordination of the Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The head of the laboratory is Dr. Ph.D., Prof. Zagorodnyuk Andriy.
The main research directions of the Laboratory of Nonlinear Functional Analysis include:
- Infinite-dimensional complex analysis;
- Theory of polynomial and analytic mappings on Banach spaces;
- Algebras of analytic functions on Banach spaces;
- Nonlocal boundary value problems for partial differential equations.
The main tasks of the laboratory are:
- Expansion of cooperation between higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
- Strengthening ties between the teaching staff of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and the employees of the Pidstryhach Institute for Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
- Promotion of the development of international scientific cooperation;
- Implementation of research results into the educational process;
- Support for talented youth.
